I was born in Clinton, North Carolina. My family and I have lived in the Hickory/Taylorsville area since 1989. I graduated from Clement High School and continued my education at Sampson Community College and Lenoir Rhyne College. I have a background in business having been employed as Staff Accountant at Spectrum Glass Products in Clinton, NC, and Sales Tax Analyst at Siecor Corporation in Hickory, NC. I began my employment at Antioch Baptist Church in August of 2000. I am married to Rob Palmer. We have four children and seven grandchildren. Rob and I are active members of Friendship Lutheran Church. My favorite pastimes include: cooking, gardening, and spending time with my family.
